What Is PVD Gold/Rose Plating

PVD is short for “physical vapor deposition,” which is a process where a layer of gold or rose gold permeates the stainless steel to create a beautiful and functional finish. PVD produced a much more durable finish than traditional gold plating. However, always remove your jewellery when applying perfume, lotions and potions, or even better, always put your jewellery on last when getting dressed.

Caring for PVD Jewellery

• Remove jewellery when bathing, showering or swimming as water and chemicals (especially chlorine) will affect the longevity of the item.

• Chemicals in make-up, hair spray, perfume and moisturisers will discolour gold/rose plating, so apply these first and allow them to dry before wearing your jewellery.

• Remove jewellery when sleeping, doing household tasks such as cleaning, playing sport and exercising or other strenuous activities since jewellery may become tangled, scratched or harmed by sharp blows.

As with all fine things in life, you should take care to protect your jewellery and always store in the box or pouch provided.

Cleaning PVD Jewellery

Gently clean your jewellery with a soft polishing cloth after each wear. Pieces containing stones should not be submerged in water.

Orders will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked Delivery or via Royal Mail Special Delivery for higher value orders (which both require a signature on delivery) and should usually arrive at UK destinations within 3 working days of posting.

Returns policy

We will be happy to offer an exchange or a full refund for items purchased through our online store; providing the unwanted item is returned to us within 28 days of purchase, is returned together with all packaging originally supplied and is in perfect saleable condition.
